Forum on China-Europe Cultural Industries Will Be Held on the 5th ICIF

According to the Organizing Committee of ICIF, the Forum on China-Europe Cultural Industries, as the Summit Forum of ICIF 2009, will be held from 14:00 – 18:00, May 15, 2009, on the 5th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF).
The Forum on China-Europe Cultural Industries is a high-level international summit forum which is jointly hosted by Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China, Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, General Administration of Press and Publication of the People’s Republic of China, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Guangdong Provincial People’s Government, Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government and General Division of Education and Culture of European Commission. It is organized by the Organizing Committee of China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair and Shenzhen International Cultural Industry Fair Co., Ltd.
The theme of the forum is “Strengthen the Dialogue, Develop the Cooperation”. Mr. Cai Wu, minister of the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic China, will be the rotating chairman of the forum. At the same time, we will also invite the national related officials, representatives from General Division of Education and Culture of European Commission, cultural officials from European Commission, officials from the hosts of ICIF, representatives from the cultural enterprises, and the experts, etc. (about 200 guests) to attend the forum, and to discuss the cultural cooperation and development between China and Europe. The forum will be a grand event for China cultural industries in 2009.
The Website of China Cultural Industries (CNCI) (www.cnci.gov.cn), authorized by the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China, sponsored by the Department of Cultural Industries of the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China and operated by Shenzhen International Cultural Industry Fair Co., Ltd. of Shenzhen Press Group, will be the only website designated by the forum to release exclusive news on the Summit Forum.
